Although I tend to prefer to visit this waterfall as merely a side attraction to Mo i Modalen or Hesjedalsfossen, I’ll pretty much regurgitate the directions written from the Hesjedalsfossen directions.

From Bergen, I drove on the E39 for roughly 12km before reaching the roundabout at the junction with the E16.

I then took the E16 exit and drove for about 49km to the turnoff for Mo (Fv569) on the left (note that this turnoff was about 36km west of Voss).

Once on the Fv569, I then took the very narrow (mostly single-lane) road north for about 15km to a pullout for Hesjedalsfossen on the left about 100m before the bridge and tunnel.

However, the view of Fjellfossen and Stigfossen were another 5km north on the Fv569, where after a junction in town, I kept left to stay on the main road.

Ultimately, I found a non-descript pullout to the right side of the road, where I managed get a decent clear view of both waterfalls from a distance.

This drive would take on the order of 90 minutes covering about 86km.

Note that I also could have driven a longer loop to reach the view of Fjellfossen and Stigfossen from the north by continuing on the E39 north of Bergen for around 64km before taking the Fv569 on the right.

I then followed the narrow Fv569 for about 33km (passing by the town of Mo) before arriving close to Eidslandet.

Just before the small rural community, that was where I saw the combo of Fjellfossen and Stigfossen to my left at the aforementioned informal pullout.

This drive would take a little less than 2 hours without stops.

For some geographical context, Bergen was 103km (over 90 minutes drive) west of Voss, 135km (about 3 hours drive with a ferry crossing) west of Odda, 156km (about 2.5 hours) west of Eidfjord, 175km (a little over 3 hours drive with a ferry crossing) south of Førde, 211km (under 5 hours drive with ferry crossings) north of Stavanger, and 464km (about 7 hours drive) west of Oslo.
