Waterfalls in Oceania and the South Pacific
Oceania Waterfalls pertain to those we’ve visited from the islands in the Southern Hemisphere in the vast expanse of the South Pacific Ocean. For the purposes of this website, we’re including all the non-Asian countries east of the Indian Ocean, south of the equator, and west of South America.
Included amongst this vast part of the globe are Australia, New Zealand, and especially the South Pacific Islands like Tahiti and Fiji, among others. In fact, I tend to think that the South Pacific islands are about as close to the idea of “paradise” that you’re going to get.
In our experiences, some of our most special and memorable moments took place in this continent. Our first taste of paradise happened in Tahiti, and our destination wedding took place in New Zealand.
But waterfalling in this continent was like an exercise in finding gems well off the beaten path, which pretty much ensures that such experiences are the most memorable. And so by sharing our experiences, we may open more eyes to the hidden treasures that await the intrepid adventurers…
