Waterfalls in Saint Lucia
St Lucia Waterfalls dot the picturesque, mountainous Caribbean island of St Lucia and provide the perfect excuse to get further immersed in its Nature. With the twin peaks of the Pitons (i.e. Petit [little] Piton and Gros [fat] Piton) being the signature landmarks of the island, such a geologic feature is indicative of its mountainous topology, which might be why it shouldn’t be surprising to find waterfalls here.

Of course waterfalls aren’t all St Lucia has to offer. It’s a pretty popular romantic Caribbean spot as there’s charming towns, plenty of watersports, Caribbean cuisine, spas and resorts, beaches, rainforests, and even an actively volcanic area. Add to that, the Creole-French-British influence and the Caribbean charm (ya, mon!) and you can see that for such a diminutive island, it certainly packs quite a punch.
During our limited stay on this island, we managed to visit a handful of waterfalls. We weren’t able to visit all of them, but perhaps that gives us an excuse to make a return trip!
