Waterfalls in Ohio
Ohio Waterfalls were certainly an unheralded aspect of the state that is known more for its athletics (think Lebron James) and the city of Cleveland than its Nature. But exceeding even our low expectations of what could be found here, we managed to visit a trio of attractive waterfalls juxtaposed with beautiful Autumn colors. We also visited the rejuvenating downtown Cleveland area that also featured a nice museum scene as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Nevertheless, when it came to waterfalling, the highlights include Brandywine Falls (which resided in its own National Park) and Lanternmans Falls, where history and Nature co-existed amidst a sea of industrial development providing us a glimpse of the nation-building era of the United States in the 19th century.
Like with other states in this heavily industrialized region of the Great Lakes, Julie and I are keen to check out more waterfall surprises with a return visit..
