Trail Canyon 1/20/11

submitted by _Anonymous56 on January 30, 2011

This post was in response to Trail Canyon Falls

Just hiked to the falls! It was so beautiful.

It was hard to follow the trail, lots of boulder hopping and crossing of the creek. If you’re looking to stay on the trail you need to be looking up to the left for barbed wire and that’s how you know when the trail verges up the mountain.

We couldn’t find the trail after about traveling for about .25 miles so we chose to just follow the river/creek all the way up. It was so amazing!

We then climbed up to the trail and took that way back.. we are very grateful we followed the river up b/c the descent from the trail would have been difficult.

It still says the trail is currently closed but we just parked on Big Tujunga Canyon road and walked up to the trail.
