Waterfalls in Oklahoma
Oklahoma Waterfalls were another one of those oxymorons as the state was known more for prairies and flat lands than anything resembling a waterfall. But those preconceptions were shattered when my Mom made a business trip to the state and came home with photographs of a surprise waterfall there called Turner Falls, and ever since then, we’ve opened our minds to finding more waterfalls in the state.
So far in our efforts to go waterfalling here, we’ve managed to find one other waterfall called the Natural Falls (Dripping Springs). Perhaps with a repeat visit, we’ll encounter a few more in the Sooner state.
