Waterfall Safety and Common Sense

This Twin Falls sat in Morton National Park, and we were able to visit it after about 600m of walking past the Jersey Lookout of Fitzroy Falls. As the name suggested, the falls consisted of two columns of water though the nearest column was by far the most visible and most impressive. The other waterfall was harder to see due to the presence of overgrowth, but it looked just as tall as the nearest one. We gave this pair of falls its own page since it required a little extra exertion beyond Fitzroy Falls to see it.

Twin Falls was flowing somewhat decently when we came here. Of course that followed a few consecutive days of rain, plus it started to rain during our visit as well. We believe that this outbreak of rain in this area might have been more of a short term respite from the longer term drought that really affected our waterfalling trip in November 2006. And given how it was flowing on the somewhat light side, it might not last too long after the rains would stop.
