About “Mineral King Falls”
“Mineral King Falls” is an unofficial name that I’m associating with this tall but unnamed waterfall.
It was easily overlooked despite being able to see it from right off the unpaved Mineral King Road.
Unfortunately, there weren’t any pullouts near the vistas to safely view this waterfall without blocking traffic.

So, in order to get the photos you see on this page, we basically had to take a chance by stopping the car in the middle of the narrow road, then get out and snap photos before quickly getting back into the car.
If another car comes in either direction while all this was going on, then I guess it’s a matter of how patient the other driver is to allow you to get a photo of this impressive falls.
It’s either that or over shoot the vista, find a pullout somewhere along the road as we approached the settlement of Silver City, and then walk all the way back to the vista for a view.
Anyways, we welcomed the sight of seeing this waterfall to break up the drive on Mineral King Road.
