Swiss Waterfalls Season

submitted by Thomas on October 27, 2015

This post was in response to Top 10 Tallest Waterfalls – based on cumulative height

Hi, I stumbled on your interesting site by searching for some Swiss waterfalls. I hope you still update your site.

I found the information in your guides very helpful. There seems to be one big mistake to me in many of them. Swiss creeks and waterfalls never dry out in summer. They dry our only in winter. We get much fewer precipitation in winter and in the mountains most of it is snow.

You can check out this page to confirm yourself that we get actually the most rain in July and August. http://meteonews.ch/de/Klima/M06734000/Interlaken
