My Visit to the Huka Falls

submitted by Alan Kilduff on July 14, 2016

This post was in response to Huka Falls

It was one evening many years ago,I had my Girlfriend at the time, We were there and no one else was there, we could not believe it as it is a very populate place, My Girlfriend was a little bit unsure about going on the Bridge just in case something happened, I told that it was safe so she went on the Bridge, When she got into the middle I started to jump up and down to giver her a bit of a fright, anyway to make a long story short the very next Day the Bridge was closed because it was unsafe. I think we were very lucky.

I had another visit to the Falls with my mates, we climbed down the left hand side(the Car park side)and walked a little way towards the falls and went into a Cave that was under the falls, you could only get under there when there was not much water going over the Falls.

Thank you A Kilduff
