Inga Falls

submitted by Mike Lovullo on July 13, 2012

This post was in response to What Makes A Waterfall A Waterfall?

Inga Falls is by far the most powerful falls on earth with a combined flow greater than the big “three” combined, yet there are no pictures or video on it. You Tube is beginning to post some images of it, yet its hard to find any written info. on it nevermind photos. The average flow rate is over 11 million gallons per second and three times that in flood. Part of the falls drops approx. 70 feet in steps which certainly makes it a waterfall. Any info. on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike Lovullo
