Waterfalls in Alaska
Alaska Waterfalls I’m sure are abundant given its rainy climate (it’s said to rain about 300 days out of the year in much of the southeast part of the state). However, given the wild and ruggedness of this harsh and unforgiving yet bountiful land, it’s going to take work, a lot of money, and/or a lot of preparation to visit them.

In our case, we only managed to see one legitimate waterfall when we took a cruise and docked in the state’s capital of Juneau. Other unnamed cascades were seen when we got lucky touring Glacier Bay as the weather cleared up just in time for our tour there!
So given this humble sampling of waterfalls, we hope to return here without the restriction of a cruise and perhaps see what other surprises Nature has in store for us. But in the mean time, have a look and see if this whets your appetite to take on America’s Final Frontier…
