I will never forget that day it was in 1973.
I was 11 years old, and me and my sisters and a bunch of our cousin’s, we started up the trail. There were so many mountain apples, I remember all us kids climbing the trees trying to reach the apples, then I saw a big apple so I climbed on to the branch and right as I grabbed the apple, the branch had broken and I fell off the cliff and landed on these huge boulders. I remember flipping in mid air as I saw the rocks below.
When I hit the rocks, I opened my eyes and saw my sisters at the top of the cliff they were screaming and crying. They thought I was dead.
Till this day I don’t know how I survived that fall, not even a scratch on me.
I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY.
