Surely it’s in the Waikato?
Taupo is also in the Waikato….
Just FYI….the Bay Of Plenty finishes approx. some 24 kms SOUTH of Rotorua….
And that is where the Waikato starts! and…the Waikato does NOT finish until some 70 kms south into the Desert Road…..that is correct: and that is some 120 kms south of Taupo at that point.
As far as going east on SH5 to the Falls…..having lived here some 70 years I believe that this region is still part of the Waikato as well…it is too far south east to be in the BOP…..
