Waterfalls in Indiana
Indiana Waterfalls were pretty rare in this very agricultural state. Luckily for us, the two waterfalls that we happened to have encountered in the Hoosier state also happened to be reasonably close to the city of Indianapolis, which itself was a nice place to walk around and check out its war memorials as well as experiencing the downtown scene. Of course with the state being known more for its athletics (i.e. basketball as well as pro football, especially with the legacy of Peyton Manning), it was understandable why waterfalls are virtually unknown here.

That said, we did visit the Upper Cataract Falls as well as the Lower Cataract Falls. But we’re certainly on the lookout to see if we could expand our very limited waterfall survey of the state.
